And I am getting so nervous (and super excited) about my puppy! I have no idea how to train a dog! According to the breeder, he is "paper trained" and out on the floor 24/7. That sounds good ... but is it? Who knows! So, I am looking on line to find some training classes that I can afford.
And I am also getting so nervous (and excited) about going to FL in a couple days. My kidlets can hardly stand the wait but I am afraid they are going to be disruptive on the plane! We went out and got fun stuff to do on the plane and I have been coaching them about staying in our seats and playing quietly. They are going to pack their own backpacks (with lots of supervision, of course) and Teagan is already listing off everything he owns and thinks that it is going in the backpack!
And I am feeling emotional about Teagan's last day of school tomorrow. And Kamryn starting school -- that's not until July but this is all a big reminder! Which then brings me back to the puppy ... I am getting a puppy because my baby just turned 3!!
UUUGGGGHHHH! Sorry this was not much about craftiness today. If you got to the end ... thanks for "listening"

hey there, these are lovely. I love the top left one - is that patterned paper by Stampin Up?
As for getting the puppy... I have a Lhasa Apso - very similar in size - and she was a breeze to train. Once you've fed your pup keep a close eye on them for the next hour as they'll want to go "potty" pretty soon after eating. Take them outside to wherever you want them to "go" and give them lots of praise as they are doing the 1 or 2. The more often you take them out the better. The first few days I had my pooch I covered the house in paper and gradually moved the paper to just being at the door. She knew she only had to go on paper so followed where the paper was and was soon outside. The only other thing I would suggest is if you catch your pup going inside tell them "no" in a firm voice, try to get them outside as quick as possible and then lots of praise again when they go outside. They'll soon learn. And never rub your pups nose in the mess. They'll just think they are not allowed to go toilet at all and will become secretive to it, leaving you with mess in places you didn't think they could go. :( Hope this helps, just my experience of puppy training! :) This site has some good advice you might like... http://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/item/458
